These are the three AI visibility trackers people shortlist against each other most, judging by what
brings readers to this site. They sit at three different price points and, since June 2026, three
different ownership structures: one independent budget tool, one independent mid-market tool with no
public price list, and one now owned by a public company for about $225 million. Only one of the three
can pay us anything, and we are not enrolled in it.
Ordered by verified entry price, lowest first. Peec sits second by a third-party estimate only, because
peec.ai does not itself publish a figure; treat its position as provisional, not as a ranking of quality.
Otterly, Peec AI and Scrunch, verified pricing and payout to this site

NOTHING (no programme exists)
Otterly and Peec are recorded in our permanent ledger at who pays us.
Scrunch is not yet in that ledger; the figures here were fetched directly by us on 2026-07-14 and carry
the same sourcing discipline, they are simply not folded into the site-wide table yet.
What each one actually measures
All three blend two different quantities into one dashboard. We separate them here because the industry
rarely does (see rule 8 of our methodology): a brand mention is your name appearing in an answer's text; a
citation is a source link the model drew on. They diverge more than marketing pages admit.
Otterly.ai
Tracks brand mentions across ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews, and separately reports which
links are referenced in the same answers. Otterly's own research (an experiment on llms.txt adoption)
is graded UNREPRODUCED in our ledger, not because the direction is wrong but because we could not pull
its headline sample size and date range off the page it is attributed to. See
that entry.
Peec AI
Reports "visibility, position and sentiment" for mentions across ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Google
AI Mode, and separately lists "key sources", the cited domains behind an answer. The mention side and
the citation side sit in the same dashboard but are not the same number.
Scrunch
Markets itself as an "AI Customer Experience Platform" rather than a pure tracker: brand-mention
monitoring and citation analysis, plus an "Agent Experience Platform" that serves AI-optimised content
to crawlers, and crawl observability. That third piece, feeding an optimised version of your pages to
bots, is a different product category from the other two, priced accordingly.
Scrunch is no longer independent
Sitecore announced on 3 June 2026 that it had acquired Scrunch for approximately $225 million. Scrunch's
marketing site has since moved from scrunchai.com, which now 301-redirects, to scrunch.com. This matters
for a shortlist decision: you are no longer buying a standalone AI-visibility startup, you are buying a
feature of Sitecore's digital experience platform, priced and packaged as before for now, but subject to
Sitecore's roadmap going forward.
This is not an isolated data point. Our evidence ledger already carries the Lorelight shutdown, in which
founder Benjamin Houy closed a GEO tracking startup after seven months and concluded: "GEO makes more
sense as a feature within existing SEO platforms, not as a standalone category." Adobe separately agreed
to acquire Semrush for about $1.9 billion. The Scrunch acquisition is a second, larger data point in the
same direction. Full grading: the evidence ledger.
A single blended score is measuring three different populations
Kevin Indig's Consensus Gap study, 3.7 million URL citations across a 20,000-prompt sample on ChatGPT,
Perplexity and Google AI Overviews, found that only 2.37% of cited URLs appear across all three engines;
91.07% appear in exactly one. Any tracker, including all three above, that reports one number for "AI
visibility" is averaging near-disjoint populations. Ask which engines a plan actually covers before
comparing headline prices. Full grading:
the evidence ledger.
